Actually, make that 2... Working on the third. What differs a little this time is that I complete the lyrics for J as well before starting on the music for the next track. Normally I leave the lyrics until later. But I want to give Ruby alot of time to work with her arrangements so that's why I complete the lyrics right away as well so she and I can work on hers together with tons of time on our hands.

I have absolutely no doubt that this will be anything short of completely amazing.

Have been sitting on and off since 5:30, some 6 hours, this morning working on the new track and the rough sketch of roughly 9 minutes is completed, which feels so awesome. Tons of work to do with this song before it's finished though, but the biggest and hardest work is now done. Now it's all about diving into the song and really start to work on it to make it perfect, add the keyboards and whatnot.

Listening to a part right now that is so moody and sad it's not even healthy to listen to... I love it.

I have been working with the new song all day and things are turning out ace. Managed to record a small video for you of the process. Just some seconds of one of the last riffs I made for this tune. It got itself some nice Decapitated groove methinks.

I actually played along to the two new finished TPH songs on the drums the other day, and damn it felt great! Very entertaining for me - from a drummers perspective - and obviously very exciting since I'm "the new guy". I have listened to the songs some 10 times or so, so I'm getting to know them by now. And it's obvious that K and I have been playing together for some years now, in different constellations. Because when I'm sitting behind the drum kit listening and trying to play along to these new TPH songs, I don't find it hard at all to keep up with all the madness that's going on. I actually thought it would be quite tricky for me to follow, since I'm very used to play songs with a pretty "basic" structure, compared to the intricacy that The Hate offers. But obviously we know each other pretty well by now on a musical level, and that my friends, feels nothing but fucken awesome.

I can't believe the new album has even been started this soon after TLP, let alone this far along, good shit indeed! The riff in the video clip sounds awesome. If that's what only a few seconds sound like, I can't even imagine how good this album is going to be Jerk off
